Sketchbooks

Sketchbooks are the foundation of my work; they are a safe place for me to explore new ideas and refine my skill set. I tend to have a couple of books on the go at the same time because I like to focus on one theme or one tool in each book. Working in this way allows me to concentrate on a particular aspect before taking these ideas into finished work.
